Born in Italy, Where Quality is Second to None

Clelia was born in a small town in Italy. As a kid, she dreamed of becoming a Modellista, or Pattern Maker. That dream came true!

She loves to cook, loves coffee, hangs with her parents daily, and, oh yes, she is the mother of two littles that occupy 200% of her heart and 100% of her day.

Alberto was born in the big city of Los Angeles, California. He dreamed of becoming an NBA player when he would be all grown up. That one didn’t pan out. Instead, he became a textile engineer.

Alberto loves soccer, music, and Thai food. He loves being a dad and commits to having dinner with his wife and two littles everyday, although his wife often quips that he is actually the third little in the family, trapped in a big kid’s body.

A Muffin In the Oven is Born

A Muffin in the Oven was founded by Clelia and Alberto. They both share unmatched passion for all things fashion: fabrics, pattern making, and sewing. And, in case you didn’t guess it, they’re also husband and wife. The couple founded A Muffin in the Oven 2020, after years of hard work to perfect their craft, committing to an idea that each piece be made with love.

We love making clothing and we are really thankful to do something we love to support our family. We’re beyond thankful for the opportunity to dress your family and provide clothing you know and love. We fulfill this mission with tremendous responsibility because the clothes that we make are worn – and sometimes eaten – by the littles you love and cherish.
